Here is what are the most useful tips:
- Immediately remove the phone from the water, and remove the battery, SIM card and also the micro SD card (if you have one), so as to avoid losing any data, and also to prevent damage to battery or other
- If possible, remove the cover so that the water on the surface does not spread also in the circuits of the telephone;
- Check the color of the sensor for damage related to water. It is a white dot near the battery compartment, if the color tends toward red, then you can no longer enjoy the guarantee;
- Gently clean any part of the phone with a piece of paper or cloth, and do not shake it too much, since the water may spread inside the phone;
- If possible, try to "create a vacuum" around the phone, so that there is no moisture to aggravate the situation;
- Finally, leave the phone in a bowl or in a jar full of uncooked rice for 24 hours (the rice absorbs the water, and can help you save on your phone).
It need to Spend 24 hours for you to try to reinsert the battery and the SIM card in the phone and try to turn it on. Do not give you the assurance that your Android smartphone resurrect after did these actions, but there is still a chance to be saved, and it costs nothing to try.

Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 users who missed the OTA update notification or unable to access the update over Samsung KIES, may follow our step-by-step guide to install the update manually.
Pre-requisites
1. Install USB Drivers for Samsung Galaxy S4 on the computer.
2. Enable USB Debugging Mode on the phone by navigating to Settings >> Developer Options.
3. Make a backup of all your important data before following the guide.
4. The Galaxy S4 should be factory unlocked and not locked to any particular carrier.
5. Ensure the battery of the phone is charged more than 80 per cent.
6. The Android 4.2.2 XXUBMG9 Jelly Bean firmware is compatible only with Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500. Applying this to any incorrect variant might brick the device. Verify the model number of the Galaxy S4 by navigating to Settings >> About Phone.

Steps to Update Galaxy S4 I9500 with Android 4.2.2 XXUBMG9 Jelly Bean Firmware
Step 1: Extract Firmware zip file using winrar/7zip/winzip or any other extracting tool, you will get a .tar.md5 file and some other files.
Step 2: Extract Odin zip file and you will get Odin3 v3.07.exe along with few other files.
Step 3: Power off your phone.
Step 4: Boot the device into Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down, Home and Power buttons together until a construction Android robot icon with a warning triangle appears on screen. Now press the Volume Up button to enter Download Mode.
Step 5: Run Odin on the computer as an Administrator.
Step 6: Connect the Galaxy S4 to the computer using USB cable while it is in the Download Mode. Wait until Odin detects the device. When the device is connected successfully, the ID: COM box will turn blue with the COM port number. Additionally, the successful connected will be indicated by a message saying Added.
Note: If the Added message does not appear, then try re-install USB drivers or changing the port on the computer.
Step 7: Choose the following files in Odin from extracted I9500XXUBMG9 firmware folder by using respective checkboxes:
- Select the PDA checkbox, and choose the file named .tar or .md5.
- Click the Phone checkbox, and choose the file with modem in its name (ignore if there is no such file)
- Click the CSC checkbox, and select the file with csc in its name (ignore if such file is missing)
- Choose the PIT checkbox, and choose the .pit file. Use only the file obtained during extracting in step 1 above, otherwise ignore it.
Step 8: In Odin, enable Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checkboxes. Also, ensure the Re-Partition checkbox is chosen only if a .pit file was chosen in the previous step.
Step 9: Verify everything suggested in Step 7 and Step 8 is done correctly. Then hit the START button to begin the installation process.
Step 10: Once the installation process is completed, your phone will restart and soon you will see a PASS message with green background in the left-most box at the very top of the Odin. You can now unplug the USB cable to disconnect your device from computer.
Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 should be now updated with official Android 4.2.2 XXUBMG9 Jelly Bean. Head over to Settings >> About Phone to verify the software version running on the device.
Note: If Galaxy S4 I9500 stuck at booting animation after Step 10 then go to recovery mode (press and hold the Volume Up, Home and Power buttons together) and perform Wipe data/Factory Reset and Wipe Cache Partition task before selecting reboot system now function. In recovery mode use Volume keys to navigate between options and Power key to select the option. Photos of alleged Nokia Lumia tablet are off center look on the mark
Nokia may want to check its pipes with all the leaked product info circulating as of late. Not only are images and data on the 41-megapixel Lumia 1020 flooding the web, today we also have a glimpse at the Windows tablet that might have been/is still planned from the Finnish device maker.
While Nokia pretty much confirmed it had a slate in the works more than a year ago, the images were working with today allegedly show a prototype of a 10.1-inch tablet.
Some unofficial pictures show a supposed Nokia tablet in the flesh, albeit off-center. This particular machine was "dropped," a forum member on WP Central who dished on some specs said.
The first image depicts a device thats running Microsoft Windows RT operating system, visible on its large display.
The second leaked photo is all about the a matte-black rear of the tablet, which includes Nokias logo hallmarking the middle of the devices backside.
The little that we see in these photos backs up some of the previously rumored specs.
The Nokia tab is said to be including an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core 1.3GHz processor and 2GB of RAM inside, and feature a 10-1. inch screen with a 16-point touch touchscreen on the outside.
Around the sides of the device will be an HDMI-out port, USB port and microSIM card slot.
Whether the tablet will take on Windows 8 or stick with Windows RT remains a big question mark, as the devices rumor history has indicated both at various times, but then again, the thing would have to be put into production for it to really matter.

Official Facebook and Flipboard apps coming to new look Windows Store
Microsofts new look Windows Store will be graced by the presence of hit mobile apps Facebook and Flipboard, it has emerged.
The apps appeared on an as-yet-unannounced 8-inch Acer Windows 8 tablet, during a private briefing at the companys Build conference in San Francisco.
Flipboard, the popular social magazine for iOS and Android, will be custom-built as a Metro-style app for Windows 8, according to a post on the company blog.
"Flipboard will be custom-made for this new platform, allowing Windows users to read, create and share magazines on virtually any topic imaginable," the post read.
Facebook hasnt yet commented on its official app for Windows 8, but itll definitely be a boost for Microsofts fledgling operating system and may encourage more big names to jump on board.
In a slightly less newsworthy addition for UK readers, the official NFL Fantasy League app is also being primed for the store, a joyous occasion for those whose weeks are centred around setting their line-ups and proposing trades.
During the unveiling of the Windows 8.1 update, Microsoft also demonstrated a cleaner, cleaner layout with larger screenshots for each application, while also bringing information on popular and trending apps from Bing.
Keeping your apps up to date in Windows 8.1 is also easier thanks to the new automatic update feature which can, of course, be turned off it a particular update doesnt float your boat.

How to Root Galaxy S3 I9300 on Android 4 1 2 XXEMF6 Jelly Bean Firmware
Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 users who have already updated their devices with Android 4.1.2 XXEMF6 Jelly Bean, may root their devices using the tutorial below.
This tutorial uses CF-Auto-Root file released by recognised XDA Developers, Chainfire. The CF-Auto-Root file allowing Galaxy S3 users to root their devices easily without depending on the firmware. It completely supports Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and future firmware as well. Head over to the CF-Auto-Root main thread to learn more about the root method.
Note: Using this root increases your flash counter. The flash counter keeps track of how many custom firmwares you have flashed, as this voids warranty. Triangle Away can be used to reset the flash counter after installing CF-Auto-Root.
